Our client, a leading packaging company in Roanoke, Texas, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Manager to join their team. This pivotal role involves overseeing plant-wide product quality, from overall assembly and inspection to managing subassemblies and end items on a project-by-project basis. If you have a strong background in Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP) , statistical analysis, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards, we encourage you to apply. You'll be instrumental in developing and implementing quality plans, managing corrective actions, and ensuring all quality personnel are expertly trained.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for QA personnel inspecting for product quality plant-wide: overall assembly, inspection, and activities for subassemblies and end items on a project-by-project basis for products.
• Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan compliant with quality system requirements.
• Revise and update quality control documents to incorporate statistical control programs.
• Manage and evaluate corrective actions and customer complaints.
• Conduct meetings with supervisors to discuss problems or work to be accomplished.
• Ensure all quality personnel are trained according to the ANSI Sampling Plan , the procedures and work instructions, and QA documentation.
• Recommend changes to the management operations, processes, procedures, and work instructions.
• Work with other managers to review sample submissions of new products and engineering changes.

Skills

• College degree or four (4) years of industry experience required.
• Full knowledge of Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP) and procedural knowledge (a computerized material control program).
• Experience with statistical analysis , precision measurement, and process capability studies required.
• Formal education in mathematics, statistics, and industrial practices is essential for this position.
• Must take and pass the pre-employment test.
• Hardware : All PC-related equipment & components with specialties.
• Communication : Good interpersonal skills. Able to read, write, and speak fluently in English. Knowing another language is a plus.
• Familiar with customer spec sheets, samples, and requirements.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of production workers and management.
